Go to one of our pawn shops and buy or pawn your rings. With Spring arriving in the next few months, we figured this would be a good time to talk about the quality and assurance of buying beautiful wedding and engagement rings at our local pawn shop.
We understand that engagement rings and wedding rings can be quite expensive, especially if you're really looking to impress your true love. Here at Sportsmans Pawn, we value our customers and seek to provide you with the best matrimonial items at a fair price. We can help you save hundreds or even thousands of dollars on rings that normally cost much much more at a jeweler's store.
For me personally, when I began looking for a beautiful wedding ring for my future wife, I realized that I wouldn't be able to afford anything outside of my budget, (which would drastically narrow the options down at any local jewelry store). I knew that my best option for purchasing a high-quality ring was to go to our local pawn shop.
The in-store availability of rings was impressive! There in the glass casing was a wide collection of engagement rings, wedding rings, necklaces, bracelets, and other matrimonial jewelry. I was surprised with all the styles of rings available. Gold, diamond, pearl, ruby, emerald, it was all there.
After about an hour of trying to decide on "The One" ring for my soon-to-be wife, I finally narrowed it down to a beautiful diamond ring similar to the one shown in the image above. I felt good about buying it. I now had a beautiful diamond ring that didn't cost an arm and a leg to buy.
My Dad and I decided to bring the ring to a jewelry store to see what its worth is. We wanted to see whether it was a good investment compared to what I bought it for. We went to a jewelry and upon inspecting the ring, he stated that it appeared to be worth a fair amount. He took it into the back office upon further inspection while we waited at the front desk. After he came back out, he told us how he determined the value of the ring. He talked about the quality of the cuts of the diamonds and what their individual worth was (one main diamond in the middle, with smaller ones on either side). He also discussed the quality of the band material and the overall price he would esteem it to be worth. He stated that it's probably worth $2000 to $3000. I was shocked. It had cost me only about a quarter of the price to buy. In my mind, I had struck gold.
I presented the ring to my soon-to-be wife and she absolutely loved it! I later showed her pictures of all the different rings that were available to choose from at the pawn shop. She said that the one I got her was the most beautiful of them all :)
